@vinsrares A horizontal tasting of #ClosdesPapes is always a real fun. Which vintage is best? I think ´01, ´03, ´05, ´07 and 2010.

@vinsrares It was Clos des Papes '05 which was #1 in 2007 Wine Spectator. In my opinion '07 is better than '05. Both are terrific though.

@vinsrares The '28 Margaux was more "alive" and complex on the nose than I actually expected. However this bottle was past its prime.
