This is largely a non-issue #noshade. No one has a gun to y'alls head saying to stay up till 12 AM for the new drop. Just go to sleep and listen to it when you like😭

Every label, distributor, and DSP I’ve spoken to hates midnight drops. And so do fans. And yet artists keep releasing on Fridays to maximize first-week charting eligibility. Move back to Tuesdays, release at 11 AM, and let people sit with the music through the week.

Mind you, the average person genuinely would not notice that Manon is not as good of a dancer as the rest unless you nitpick. And she is given notes for her vocal ability. I think the critiques are genuinely just overly badgering in nature
