These days, reading has become gluttonous. People rush through books to meet a goal. I read until I’m full. Then I sit with it. Digest it. I test the book’s ideas against my beliefs, find its echoes in the real world. I’m not reading to finish. I’m reading to understand.

I heard doordash was stealing tips from their drivers so out of curiosity, I asked the woman who dropped off my tacos how much it's showing that I tipped her; she said $5. I showed her my phone where I tipped $20 (bc the taco place was busy and she waited for my order). 😐

their state specifically said that companies could not include auto-renewal terms in the contract. The business had a generic agreement nationwide, but this client were familiar with the law and got the contract cancelled by making the business aware they knew. At least consult

I know people complain about how hard it is to get out of gym contracts. As someone who has seen firsthand how large corporations ignore state laws (and get away with it because their customers don’t know any better) I’d recommend you check out your state’s law on Auto Renewals.

It baffles me that people put their leather coach bags in the wash. I worked for them in college and I don’t remember that ever being a recommendation for cleaning your bag. 😳
