Charmix would feel earned rather than rushed. As for Enchantix, it might be too much to give it to her in the same season. That could also be a good point to introduce Believix instead. Making Believix a s5 transformation. This would make her growth more balanced imo.

For ex, Roxy could earn her base form around ep6, when she begins to believe in magic. Then, after saving Artu, she could gain her Charmix. Either in that moment, or at the end of the season when she helps the Winx save the Earth fairies.

I think having Enchantix actually impact the Wizards would’ve been a much better direction. It could’ve justified the Winx keeping enchantix for another season instead of moving on so quickly. That time also could’ve been used to develop Roxy, both as a fairy and as member.

Idc I will not fall for that Nick propaganda.

I’ll be petty for a second: I hated this reboot before a single episode even dropped. From the animation to the outfits to the shameless nostalgia bait, I just knew they were going to mess it up somehow...and girl, I was absolutely right.

Her redesign is honestly one of my favorites, but I really hate that they removed the headphones. They were so iconic!

I think it's becoming clear from the teasers and released information that, at best, we'll see a few references and nods to the original. That’s probably as far as they'll go in terms of honoring the source material, aside from keeping the core storyline intact. idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@winxmagicc By introducing them later, this issue could be delayed or even avoided altogether. That’s kind of how I see it, but I’m still really excited for what’s to come ❤️

@winxmagicc My main concern is that some specialists end up tagging along with the WC without much development or storyline, especially in later seasons. Sometimes it feels like their arcs are recycled or filled with forced drama because Rainbow just doesn’t know what to do with them anymore

I was honestly hoping that the reboot would reconsider the presence of some specialists. Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing fewer male characters on the show. I genuinely believe that one of the things "Fate" did well was to minimize the presence of the specialists.

It’s open to debate whether this was actually used to create more compelling dynamics among the girls in "Fate". Regardless, I saw it as a step in the right direction. But god-damn it, that the fandom has been saying for YEARS that not every girl needs to be in a relationship.

@SketcheeClown I will say it's prob the most different of the examples I have shown, but it still follows the same face structure/formula the others present.

And yes, even though you might notice some differences between the cartoons....if a character from one cartoon were to be modeled and placed into another, there would be almost no noticeable change.

Out of Curiosity: Do you guys think Rainbow originally intended to add Roxy to the club, but later decided not to because of Nickelodeon?

I really hope someday we get 2D animation "renaissance"; I'm genuinely tired of the 3D.
