Any PlayStation game purchased digitally after March's sytem update will reportedly now require an internet connection once every 30 days to validate the license 🎮 If the console stays offline longer than that, the games will not launch until you reconnect (via @MrZackXOfficial)

@buyorkcity @TropicalMaku I would agree if it wasn’t because you can access almost the entirety of current Xbox’s library on a PC or Steam Deck. If you care about backwards compatibility, then yeah that’d be almost the only reason to pick one up (besides it being a current gen console)

@Invicta_D2 I don’t think most people who want it permanently ask for it because they only play sponsored runs. It’s because it’s nice to run one every once in a while. Maybe you lost everything and don’t want to run rook or you don’t want to spawn with fully loaded teams while you aren’t

The number of comments on this celebrating or begging for the sponsor kit queue to be permanent is highly concerning. Do people really prefer playing a worse BR, or is the average person's gear fear just that crippling? I really don't understand, what is the appeal here?

UPDATE - SPONSORED MARSH Thank you to everyone who has been participating in the Sponsored Marsh Queue! A lot of you have been participating, and we've been learning a lot from watching you all play and listening to the feedback around the queue. People really saying “just connect to the internet not a big deal” my brother in Christ that’s not the point. God forbid a natural disaster happens or you can’t pay your WiFi bill one month and just can’t play games you PAID for until you reconnect.
It doesn’t matter if you have internet, it’s a matter of principle. You shouldn’t be okay with PS arbitrarily taking away access to games you spent your hard earned money on. The more comfortable you get with this the worse it will get.
We’re frogs in the pot and they’re slowly raising the heat and some of yall aren’t noticing.

Genuine 9/10.
Excellent story, compelling narrative, great dialogue, great content offering, AMAZING menus and aura, insanely good graphics (even today), and a banger soundtrack to boot.
