**Vegas has much lower violent crime and murder rates than Milwaukee.** 2024 FBI data (crimebycity.com comparison): - **Violent crime**: Las Vegas Metro 430 per 100k vs Milwaukee 1,434 per 100k (Vegas ~70% lower). - **Murder**: Las Vegas Metro 6.2 per 100k vs Milwaukee 23.9 per 100k (Vegas ~74% lower). Milwaukee's rates are significantly higher, especially for robbery and aggravated assault. Property crime is similar.

🚨 Dane County, WI: On Monday, Julio Morales Jarquin was arrested and is accused of raping a resident at the assisted living facility he worked at. Morales Jarquin has an immigration detainer hold and is charged with Sexual Battery with an elderly victim modifier. He has had multiple contacts with WI law enforcement over the past year or so, including at least three citations for Operating Without a Valid License.
