Year 3 from @PeelHallPrimary had a fantastic day at @RHSBridgewater . The children took part in a planting session where they planted their own peas and learned about how plants grow. In the learning garden, they explored nature using all of their senses. #Outdoors #nature

Year 2 from @seymour_road went on a tour around Manchester this week as part of their Geography topic this term on key landmarks in #Manchester. They visited Old Trafford, Manchester Central Library, Beetham Tower, Etihad Stadium and many more. #Geography #mcr #schooltrip

Year 2 from @seymour_road took part in our British Science Week, Adventures in AI workshop this week. The children trained the learning machine on identifying fruit and then created their own spelling helper! #ScienceNews #Ks1 #WOT

We loved hosting our first Iftar celebration at @seymour_road yesterday evening! A fantastic atmosphere and incredible food shared with our families and community. Thank you to everyone who came, and a special thanks to Miss Serag for leading the event and lunchtime prayers.

The World Book Day Potato Competition winners at @ParkViewWOT have been announced this week! Our pupils amazed us with their creativity, turning simple potatoes into fantastic book inspired characters. Every entry showed great imagination and effort. #Respect #WOT #Character

Year 1 pupils from @OldHallDrive recently enjoyed an exciting trip to @BlackpoolZoo as part of their Science topic, Animals Including Humans. The visit deepened their understanding of habitats, animal characteristics, and how different species live and grow. #science #Nature #WOT

Last week @OldHallDrive had a fantastic time celebrating #WorldBookDay as did all our schools across Wise Owl Trust.📚 From amazing costumes to sharing our favourite stories, it was a brilliant day filled with reading and imagination.

The school council @BriscoeLaneWOT has some exciting plans coming up with Easy Come Easy Grow. Today they were planning out where they were going to be planting the fruits, vegetables and flowers chosen by their school.

Ashley explained the process he went through for writing his new book Spirit Warriors and he then treated us by reading the first chapter! We are all hooked already and can’t wait to get our hands on a copy soon!

Our Urban Crew have been working with Easy Come Easy Grow to improve our local area. This week, they took part in a celebratory planting event. The @nationaltrust gifted the organisation a Sycamore Gap Tree of Hope, grown from the seeds of the Sycamore Gap tree in Northumberland.

Children from @PeelHallPrimary have had a great start to Spring 2 term with lots of new learning opportunities. Finishing with a visit from the @Mcr_Storm ice hockey team, who came to talk to our KS2 children about the importance of resilience, a balanced diet and exercise. #WOT

KS2 students at @ParkViewWOT stepped into the shoes of professionals during our exciting “World of Work” careers event! With over 15 volunteers from healthcare, engineering, beauty, tech & emergency services, pupils took part in speed-networking and asked thoughtful questions.

The school council meeting at @BriscoeLaneWOT was split into 3 parts. The first was meeting the Shadow Board today to discuss how they can save energy, the representatives were exceptional and very informative! The second element was to discuss the volunteer Easter card project
