@wiseunclebuck I have lived in a 55+ community since 1999. Almost every friend I have made these past 27 yrs has passed or moved into assisted living. I keep reaching out to new neighbors. I also have a few friends from high school and college scattered about. Old friends are the best.

Pals coming over to play cards. I’ve known them since community college in the 70s. We’ve got beer, stuff for them from my recent trip, we’ll tell the same old jokes and have a nice lunch. It’s good to know people a long time, but keep making new ones. Older ones fade away.

@wiseunclebuck I am in a weekly poker club we call the Wednesday Night Social Club. Sort of high dollar and memebership had to be approved by everyone or no entry. Limited to 14 menbers and occasional approved guests. The mayor got pissed he was blackballed. All deceased now but 7 of us. 😃
