Whoever rotted our brains into thinking 2025 was a flop year for aespa needs to be stopped. 😭 It wasn't their best year, but it would still be the most successful year for the vast majority of groups. The standards people hold aespa to are genuinely insane.

groups these days don’t even do promo for like a month anymore they just go straight to touring, thankfully tours are starting to be pushed back after the album a little bit more now, but still

don’t even have a global audience and can’t enter global charts. obv groups like lsrfm aespa katseye skz will be fine but with other groups you can really see how much touring>release>touring has really stagnated their growth

k-pop fans will never admit this but part of the reason the industry feels so stagnant and rushed (apart from less good new music) is because a lot of these groups (esp bgs) are ALWAYS on tour, even during album releases and promotions they’re still on tour +
