@Dalbodog I am sorry for your loss. I used to have a dilute shar-pei that looked like her. They are great dogs.

My beautiful, best beloved Mama Rose went on an hour ago. She had been abused, used as a fighting dog, breeder dog and bait dog then dumped, heavily pregnant on the road with her mouth duct taped shut. My friend rescued her and I adopted her and one of her puppies. She was the strongest, smartest, most elegant and beautiful girl in the whole world. She stopped really eating a week ago and after numerous vet visits and consults and worry it was found that she was very very sick. She would never show it, of course, being such a strong lady, but it took its toll. She will always be walking in spirit with me and her son on our 4 am walks , we have a standing appointment for those starlight walks. Love you forever Miss Delilah Rosalinda, you are no longer where you were, but you are everywhere that I am. Credit : Irene Dorman

@biffersbunny Ugh. I hear that can happen. I have had Lupus for 30 years. There are a lot of stories like this.

Its frustratingly difficult to realize how crappy my quality of life is/has been. In 2020 I was diagnosed with lyme disease, while that was cured, it triggered rheumatoid arthritis. I've had the ra diagnosis for over a year w/ no relief. I've failed 3 ra meds. Im still so sick.
