Later cohorts of emergency licensed teachers were less effective (in terms of their impacts on students). It's a bit of a mystery as to why this is so, but shows the importance of not jumping the gun in reaching strong conclusions about licensure policy. 2/n

Great information shared at the 2nd annual Expanding North Texas Teacher Pathways event. We have an in-house expert here in @LewisvilleISD - the brilliant Alexis Miller is working on doctoral research in this area and was a planner and presenter at the event! 🤩
