It's far better to focus on the good things I am working towards, isolate the bullies wherever possible, and become comfortable with confrontation -- for it is inevitable.

It has taken me 50 years to realize and accept that avoiding the bullies limits my opportunities, and seeking vengeance burns my time and energy for no reward.

If we do anything in life, we will always encounter mean, selfish people. If we want to make changes - for ourselves or the world around us, we will always encounter resistance.
