@ignBees I don’t think winning playoffs = best player of that season anyway. Ik ur explaining why this happened, but it’s been demonstrably terrible for competitiveness and a bad idea. bs rng isn’t upholding the integrity of the s10 players. & “it’s always been this way” is a bad excuse

@ignBees when has there ever been such a big/comparable change in "ruleset" between a playoffs and its subsequent season? i feel like thats mostly been the case just because there wasnt any major changes in rules between the two. i dont think these are comparable situations

@ignBees i think it is very different because this is the first time where they've actually had the option to do it, where it was a conscious decision to turn it off. seasons 1-9 had no standardisation because they just didnt have it, not bcs they were deliberately upholding consistency

@ignBees also i dont think this applies because they didn't care about consistency when changing the entire seed picking approach into not checking them at all, which has proved a drastic change

(Obviously not feins fault nor are his wins remotely invalid)

@InsaneOrbitzz the advancement knowledge only gets stale if the leads are this big, but that never happens in netherite games, this seed just shouldn't have gone through, the fake spike was the match killer. in closer games the opponent knowledge only increases competitiveness.

@InsaneOrbitzz disagree, it definitely gives intensity: pressure pushing for pace, leaving on low explosives, sending 1 eye, playing aggressive, pushing strays etc. you're removing the only player interaction, literally taking away the competitiveness.

@RozettaArt The light is emitted by the entity itself. There are no actual light blocks placed. The room is fully packed with fence gates, so there's no empty block for the game to place a light source.
