Interesting note on the John Marino deal: It's a $2,350,000 raise from his previous contract, but it will only an increase of 0.55 percentage points in terms of cap occupancy under next year's projected salary cap. It can be a factor, but usually if a player wants out, they get out. Barrett Hayton is a professional athlete and wanted to be compensated more, who wouldn’t?
