Basford United FC owners, Senior Officials, Management, Players and all levels of the club including academy and juniors are devastated to learn the passing of our friend and colleague Sam Shaw. Sam was a larger than life character who committed over 15 years to the football club working in numerous roles based around the bars and kitchen. Well known throughout the club and support base and a personal friend to many this news will be devastating to all. Our thoughts are with Sam’s immediate two children, family and close friends & work colleagues. Further details on funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. RIP Sam 🕊️
