BREAKING: Brayton Feister and Brydon Feister (Hoban) have transferred to Massillon. The brothers are absolute monsters on the defensive front, combining for over 200 tackles last season and helping the Knights out on both sides of the ball the past two seasons. They join one of the most historic programs in the nation in Massillon, who sits 2nd in all-time wins with 968 victories. The 2023 state championship team has returned to the regional finals twice since reaching the top of the mountain, and look to climb the Division II summit once again in 2026, now with a pair of brothers with 60 combined offers to play at the Division I level. @YappiFootball

Rename the gym The Josh Hose Center. Winning a basketball state title at Massillon was a task many thought impossible. He never took a short cut or the easy way. He won with people, pride dignity and a squad of born and raised Massillon Tigers!

Massillon is no longer just a football town as the #4 Tigers won its first boys state basketball championship coming back from a 15-point third quarter deficit to defeat #1 Westerville North 68-63 in the Division 2 Championship. Massillon (27-1) held a 25-24 lead at the break before the Warriors (26-2) put up a strong third quarter leading by as many as 15 midway through the period at 45-30, but the Tigers went on a run to end the quarter and trail 48-40. The Tigers then started the fourth on a 17-3 to take a 6 point lead with two minutes remaining, but Westerville North would respond with a 7-1 run to end regulation and force the second consecutive state championship overtime game. Massillon controlled the overtime period holding the Warriors to 0 field goals as they could only find points from the free throw line where they were 5-6. It's the first state championship for Massillon in their first trip to the final four since 1945.
