Form 1 had a super day yesterday rocking their odd socks for Down Syndrome Awareness Day. They also baked some sock biscuits, decorated them and enjoyed eating them at snack time #WorldDownSyndromeDay #LotsOfSocks.

FUNcational Skills class looked St Patrick’s Day. The students worked on addition, subtraction and multiplication skills using number lines and calculators. Using their receptive communication skills they watched a PowerPoint presentation andthen answerd questions in a quiz.

This morning, Loghan worked in the college kitchen, where he was tasked with making the puddings for lunch. It was his first time making custard.He followed a recipe independently using a variety of equipment. #wonderfulworkatwoolston #ncw2024 #careers

Form 6 started Careers week with ‘Motivational Monday’. Students looked at jobs and the skills that are needed. They ended the session with researching jobs of interest, ‘A day in the life of….’ where they learned all about each job. #NCW2024 #CareersWeek #SEND
