Winners of the 7th Fetisov Journalism Awards Announced✨🌍 Yesterday in Limassol, Cyprus, we celebrated the 7th Fetisov Journalism Awards, recognising powerful investigations that expose the realities of war, corporate exploitation, and environmental damage. This year’s top honours went to journalists whose work highlights some of the world’s most urgent issues: • Yuval Abraham – investigation into violence in Gaza • Pierre Leibovici – exposing forced labour in global supply chains • Wolfgang Bauer – reporting on the war in Sudan • Stéphane Horel and collaborators – uncovering corporate disinformation around toxic waste Each first-place winner received a prize of 100,000 CHF, with second- and third-place winners also recognised across all categories. The body of the Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found by rescuers after several hours of digging in the rubble after an Israeli strike. She is the fourth journalist to have been killed by Israeli forces in seven weeks. This is why the word ‘journacide’ is now being used.
