I'm seeing two different opinions about robinhood lately. There is either the utopian view: Vlad will hard shill memes to get their chain more popular among degens. The duality of the chain and the app will work perfectly and every unique meme will be listed on the main app for the 28m customers to see. RH chain will be the solana of next cycle and we will all win. And the dystopian view: Everything is a psyop. Vlad will not interact with the memes anymore because they just don’t earn a lot from the chain in comparison to their app. The chain is just the new bright thing until it isn’t. The truth is probably somewhere in between. If vlad wants the chain to succeed he certainly can. Realistically they don’t earn a lot from the chain yet and with current fees they will never earn a lot of money (this can be changed in the future). RWAs are doing much less volume than memes and there is a chance vlad shifts his focus to RWAs and leaves memes. We have seen lighter list $CASHCAT on the day it pumped which shows how it will most likely be handled. No listings on the RH app but on lighter. This limits the distribution to normies a lot. It takes years to build a blockchain but RH has a lot of mistakes from base to learn from. There are already a lot of bundlers on the chain that came from solana which makes me think we need to slow down first. They leave and the chain can be built properly.
