What can we take from 2024 to 2025? 👉The commitment to adjust our habits to reduce our environmental footprint. 👉The will to continue fighting for a sustainable future. 👉The certainty that, together, we can be the change the world needs.

The #IYC2024 brought us an essential lesson: nature is resilient, and we can learn from it. Camelids are true masters of surviving in the most adverse conditions, and they have taught us to adapt to change, use resources efficiently and persist even when the going gets tough🐪

We made friends with a camel, strategized together, thought outside the box and have implemented about 1.200 activities in our countries. 4 years down the line, we have been able to put our lessons learned into two flagship publications: linktr.ee/waterofthefutu…

Once upon a time, 17 local authorities and NGOs from 9 countries came together to contribute to glocal sustainable development and to promote the participation of young citizens as change-makers. #PeopleAndPlanet

Last June and July the play ‘All your tears won’t be enough’, a production by #TeatrodosAloés in partnership with #PeopleAndPlanet, was on stage at Recreios da Amadora 🇵🇹. This play offered a profound reflection on the issue of #WaterScarcity and #Sustainability.
