NEW: Chilling footage taken minutes before 15-year-old is fatally shot in NYC park. The incident began as a melee, with several kids on the basketball court fighting and attacking the 15-year-old victim, identified as Jaden Pierre. Only one shot was fired, striking Jaden’s chest. Bottom Line: I have the markets at nearly 200% over historical valuation. The Everything Bubble was waiting for a pin and got hit with a Patriot Missile. It was never going to crash its way out of this overvaluation problem. You cannot inflate your way out of overvaluation. (If you don't realize that you do not understand what valuation means. Sorry to be the one to tell you.) You grind your way out in what will likely be an epic and prolonged bear market. No overvalued market in history failed to find its way back to cheap. For three decades this one has failed to do so, but regression to the mean is undefeated. For those who like rallies while we fishtail across black ice, let me point out that in 2004 somebody showed that the 13 largest rallies in the Nasdaq's history occurred during the 2000–03 bear market. Be careful when someone warns you not to miss the biggest days in the market. If you missed those 13 biggest days in the history of the Nasdaq, you shielded yourself from an 80% correction. I am the biggest bear on Twitter and will stay that way regardless of the daily fish-tailing until they start getting cheap. In case you can't tell, despite having one of the best up days in my investing history, this day has been a colossal fuckup in so many other ways. Someday I will write about it.

Trump saw through them and laughed at their shortsightedness. Because, they actually played into Trump's hands. Trump didn't bother to reopen the Strait. He called on other users of the Strait to join hands for the reopening of the Strait. Iran called him weak and mocked him. Trump laid low and used the opportunity to poach middle east oil customers and advertised US oil to them all. Empty tankers started heading to the Gulf of US. Iran went to negotiation and presented insane demands for them to reopen the Strait. At this point, Trump activated his plan E and announced his plans to join Iran in the complete blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. Joining Iran in the blockade of the Strait would eliminate Iran's only leverage and gather the intervention of major users of the Strait. And just few hours after the announcement, China is already calling for restraint on both sides and a safe and free Strait of Hormuz. "...the best form of defense is attack."
