@YRDSB I think this is pretty standard practice in labour negotiations. This is absolutely no fun for the school board, either. Everybody knows that this is a crisis for a lot of families but with provincial bargaining, YRDSB has almost no control.

We continue to wait for news regarding the CUPE provincial bargaining table and a potential full strike tomorrow. Once we hear of the outcome, we will confirm if schools will be closed to students on October 7.
