cushions might be one of the best additions to this game

it's actually kind of crazy what you can do with cushions

not sure how i feel about mojans new beacon redesign

@Modernwarguy222 technically works with hoppers too, but the basin on them is way smaller so there's not much point lmao

Playing with minecraft's new cushions even more cause this is literally ridiculous. You can change the height of them very very finely within a composter which is insane for building crop 'barrels', think barrels of carrots, beetroot, potatoes, or water/etc

you can use the cauldrons to get really precise placement of cushions, more precise than using snow layers

the best thing i've found so far about this cushion snapshot is that you can put custom colours in cauldrons at varying levels on java now

@YVoitekhov72978 @LegacyArdor you can actually place them at any layer you want against the inside of a cauldron

@LegacyArdor @wowthie You put them on a multi-layered snow, then quickly break the snow and replace it with the cauldron before the cushion breaks

I saw a comment that said the reason why Cortana sounds like The Weapon so much is because possibly once Chief comes back for her in Two Betrayals after learning about the true purpose of Halo, Cortana will be in her original voice direction. That would be neat if intentional

What I think works for the remake is it does enough new to justify its existence in a way that I dont think CEA did which was just an ugly makeover of the original. It doesnt feel like "the definitive CE" in the way CEA tried to pitch itself as. It feels like an alternate take

@art_rube maybe not unlock after the main campaign, but just put it below it when selecting which campaign you're playing. the fact that reach is the first option on mcc was such a fumble in my opinion

I hope those prequel missions unlock after you beat the campaign, my stupid brain cant stomach the scenario of someones first time playing halo being out of context prequel missions where you fly a seraph before playing fuckass pillar of autumn 😭😭🥹

@IntenseReiss @jaxbeetle Obviously not but Halo is a big universe so they totally could develop multiple factions at once, I mean multi-sided wars are at the core of Halo, Halo CE alone introduces 4 factions with the Covenant, UNSC, Flood, and Sentinels

The fact that there's so much work being put into these New Faction designs makes me think that the Prequel Missions are gonna be set up for Halo 7...

Halo: Campaign Evolved looks like it’ll be a fun playthrough. Curious if they’ll drop the rumored Halo 2 & Halo 3 campaign remakes as DLC expansions (MCC style) or full separate games. The title ‘Campaign Evolved’ kinda fits the DLC theory perfectly.
