It was 12 years coming but my youngest son and I managed to be in the same place when he was in his dress uniform. Mighty proud of his service. No #redtoque though.

Starting my 51st year of being a type 1 diabetic. Along with depression and advanced cancer it hasn't been easy. In my younger days my mom got me through the hard times. It's been much more difficult since she has been gone. I keep her always in my mind.

@gsillito @ThanksCancer I needed that visit, it was too long in coming. They did a great job cleaning it up, but you could tell there was damage. Hope your trip was great, the pics were awesome.

Amazing visit to the Cancer Survivors Daffodil Garden on the Dartmouth Watwrfront today. There was some terrible damage the past couple weeks from disrespectful, horrible people. Nice to see so many flowers survived and thrived in spite of the stupidity.

@kierasmom @ThanksCancer I am stage 4 advanced and I rang the bell after chemo because I knew I would have at least 6 more months.

@ThanksCancer I'm stage 4, the bell is not something I will get to ring but, everytime I hear someone else ring it, it puts a smile on my face and I clap just as loudly as anyone else for them.

@ThanksCancer I rang the crap out of the bell after 10 rounds of Chemo. I did it for me and I did it for my dad who made 11 of 12 chemo treatments. The appreciation of the people there was amazing.

Today would have been my mom's 87th birthday. She is gone but will never ever be forgotten. Her being a nurse and me diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, she was a huge part of my life, even as an adult. I wish she was here to help me through cancer.

To my favorite companion who left us too soon, and everyone, happy valentine's day. Keep em close and hug em tight.

@Snowflake_Fox Woooohooo!!! So happy to hear the bunny pooped. I am used to this with my daughter lol. They still have one that is about to turn 8. His name is Conan the Bun-barian. I think he is a lion head, very long hair and fluffy.
