@JamesEBriggs I was involved in some of these IPS decisions. Some of what you say is inaccurate. Did you talk to anyone at IPS for verification?

I’ve been an IPS parent for three years. Families are leaving IPS because of choices IPS has made — not because of the state or because of some shadowy outside board. indystar.com/story/opinion/…

Our Democratic Congressman could have led the charge from the front. Instead he quietly took their campaign donations and never said a word until the state legislative session was over and the deal was done.

@JATompkins And blue line should have been first.

IndyGo’s BRT system should have been much more abbreviated and stuck to shorter, less deviated routes to enhance reliability and reduce cost. Instead, the system is overextended with low ridership and poor frequency. Costs could have been way lower and money instead poured into existing lines. Federal dollars great for new projects, though, not maintenance of existing. Same issue with interstate funding.
