Most takes today: "dormant whales are dumping → top is in."
Our W-R Delta says the opposite.
500 BTC from a 2013 wallet moved on May 10. 859 more BTC across 11 sleeping wallets followed within days. Every CT account screamed "exit liquidity."
We pulled the destinations. Zero hit exchanges. Every transfer landed in cold storage or OTC custody addresses — the wallet rotation pattern, not the dump pattern. A whale moving coin to Coinbase Prime hot wallets looks completely different on chain than what we're seeing.
Meanwhile our Whale-Retail Delta is showing whale-side accumulation through the entire ETF outflow week (-13K BTC). Retail is the seller. The IBIT March playbook is repeating in real time: BlackRock absorbed $215M in one session while F&G hit 11 the same day, and BTC rallied 18% over the next three weeks.
The "whale dumping" narrative is retail cope to justify panic selling. The chart says smart money is buying what retail is throwing.

Insane.
The script just flipped.
So far, we constantly had way more liquidity below us, but price continued to pump regardless.
Now price dumped, and we have 4x as much short liquidations as long liquidations, with over $7 billion in shorts and only $1.6 billion in longs.
If we get a similar situation to the past few months, it’s possible that we continue moving downward while all this liquidity remains untouched until the bottom is in.
