My wife’s grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s disease so it’s great that we are now working with Genentech to develop potential treatments for these types of terrible diseases.

Our #MINTplatform does not use #CRISPR, #ZincFinger or #TALeffector to 🎯 DNA. Instead, we directly reprogram Bxb1 integrase to go where we want in the human genome. The details are in our @bioRxiv paper: bit.ly/3wwPLwy

@wraithnot For this I mostly followed the protocol in this "RespiCoV" paper: journals.plos.org/plosone/articl…. Happy to share details, but it's sadly far from practical yet. It's taken me three years off and on and >$15k to get here, and I have lots of kinks to work out still 🙂.

My son had a bad cold, but COVID tests were negative so we wondered what it was.🤒🤷 I just sequenced a piece of it and found it was Rhinovirus C, the "NAT001" strain!🧬 Someday this will be trivial and cheap to do at home. Knowledge is power!🧠⚕️

@elonmusk @migueldeicaza Thank you! Not having the camera on the top of the screen was driving me crazy. I found an impractical workaround teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/posts/3114… But the more permanent fix with the binder clip and a meat stick is proving difficult

Looks like I'm not alone in being unhappy with the V9 software update on the Model S

@Tesla Please bring back rear camera on the top half of the screen for model S. V9 doesn’t allow. Now more difficult to check surroundings before changing lanes. I’ve had the rear camera on the screen always and on top since it was allowed. Please @elonmusk you are my only hope!

@elonmusk @Tesla The latest Model S software removes the ability to display the rear camera view in the top of the center screen. I find this extremely useful when changing lanes in heavy traffic. Please fix this or allow owners to revert to the previous version of the software
