I was just out in the fan zone for over an hour and dude…it is PACKED. Absolutely jammed. Attendance is clearly not an issue today.

It’s very rare to hear players/caddies/teachers etc to talk about so much about a young player like some do about David Puig.
A lot of people think he’s different and has the potential to have a huge career. Will be interesting to see what he does this weekend.

Daniel Suarez tire carrier Donovan Williams suffered minor injuries (he was released from hospital last night) when he was in front of a pit cart being pushed down a hill when it gained speed toward FOX's Amanda Busick. Williams took the brunt of impact, trying to shield Busick.

@Vipergtsrgt1 @cpk_diecast I believe when Cody hit the wall, SVG was still chasing down the leaders and a caution would've ruined the suspense on if he was going to catch them. Probably another reason why the caution wasn't thrown.

@cpk_diecast The more I think about it, the more I believe NASCAR saw the damaged Armco and decided not to throw the yellow so the race could finish within the broadcast window. Otherwise that would have been a long red flag.

Back in the day, if there was a broken wall in a road course race, Mike Helton would just go out and dare you to come near it the rest of the race.

The biggest concern i have is them not noticing the broken wall and displaced tire bundle until after the race. That is a massive safety hazard! If another car happens to hit there, you run the risk of the car completely spearing through or becoming entangled.
