Enrique Olivarers just got his 100th win in the CFISD finals. He’s Terry High first ever wrestler to reach 100 wins. He also became Terry High first CFISD Champion. Beating another undefeated wrestler. Enrique is now 28-0 for the season. #neverseenuscoming
Very proud of my team. Our boys team went in with only 6 wrestlers in the tournament. We ended up coming out 25th out of 92 teams. With 1 Champ and one 7th place finish. On the girls we only brought 7 wrestlers and placed 32nd out of 92. With 1 finalist and one 4th place finish.
Tough first tournament of the season. Joaquin and Enrique were the only 2 to place top 3. Joaquin placing 3rd and Enrique placing first by beating the State Champion from Louisiana and he also beat the 6th state ranked wrestler in 6A in the finals 10-3
Grows enrollment and makes $ for the schools. All they have to do is hire coaches, offer a few scholarships, set up mats, and buy gear. Fundraising offsets a lot of that. In doing it, they add 50+ tuition-paying students, making them way more $ than the cost to start a team
