Obviously this is true. But it is interesting how Jerry is positioning the narrative for Matt Eberflus to be the fall guy for this season. Eberflus deserves his blame, but this is also partly Jerry using him as a shield.

I see a lot of people dismissing this assassination talk because you don’t like her. Where’s all that “believe women” talk? If she stakes her reputation on it, then let’s be a BIT objective. Is it not true what OTHERS have said about powerful entities and their efforts? Did yall stop to think about if it does happen (God forbid) and how SHITTY you’d be for not just being SLIGHTLY open minded? @rjochoa Those who buy tickets and attend games, buy merch and support this team financially are also now part of the problem. I stopped 2 years ago. It’s the only real recourse fans have. Stephen looks no better than Jerry. That’s truly frightening for my kids who are Cowboy fans

They do not "refuse" to see that the GM is the problem. They know what they are. They have simply mastered this whole thing with regards to the game they are playing. They chill. They coast. They vacation and yacht and the bank accounts continue to grow at a stupid rate.

@rjochoa Never felt lower as a Cowboy fan. That includes the 1-15 season. I really dislike the Jones family. They refuse to see the GM is the problem. We have absolutely no hope of winning a Super Bowl in the foreseeable future.

I don’t think there is a lot of hope for the 2025 Cowboys defense. We knew it would be bad post-Parsons and the roster isn’t good. Firing Eberflus is an option, but not very many seasoned-options after him. Just going to have to survive the year and make moves in the offseason.

No team has been a bigger thorn in Jerry Jones’ side over the last 15 years than the Packers. Ended the Cowboys’ seasons in 2014, 2016, 2023. Dallas’ best shots at making a deep postseason run. And now Jones sends them the Cowboys’ best player. This could either end up being the Herschel Walker trade for the Cowboys or the Charles Haley trade for the 49ers.
