A lot of emotional over reaction on here given the disastrous final 10-15mins but some of our play today was very good. We’re simply not good enough to defend a lead so need to stay more front foot IMO and as the adage goes the best place to defend is in the oppo’s half…/1

@That_Mr_Raw Agreed. However look at our defenders: IJ & CB - far better in forward positions & weak defensively NL & KN - both very poor defensively MA - only good against giant immobile CFs JJ - young & learning TM & HO - injury prone All-in-all great recruiting 🤔🤔😂😂

I thought we played ok today, for once it wasn’t boring. Defend properly and that would be a good win. This season is gone but play like that every week and it’ll be fine.

@kevlennon1 Sat in bobbers and Lawrence in first half made some good runs to break the line never played in. He was getting frustrated and at one point Wilshere was too. Second half we actually tried breaking the line with balls in the channel out wide.

What we have to do now is take the elation from tonight into our next few games, play with this higher intensity and see if we can push on in away games as well as at home. Enjoy the night fellow Hatters 🧡🧡

You can only beat what’s in front of you but thought we played some good football 2nite & with more nous in forward areas could have won by 3 or 4. A good day to enjoy now at Wembley and these are the days to enjoy whilst we can & shouldn’t be sniffed at.
