@IAmJessPlant Superpower feels like part of me is being turned into a fictional animal, not as real and as human as everyone else, not part of the normal swath of human mental diversity.

@IAmJessPlant Also, it means something to me that the same underlying mental traits/patterns give me my greatest strengths. I don't want that cut off from my anxiety as a sterilized and exceptionalized "superpower."

#ActuallyAutistic people, #ADHDers, and #neurodivergent people how do you feel about the idea that being neurodivergent (or your condition, which ever you prefer) gives you superpowers?

This #NaNoWriMo I'm doing a #DisabledWriterVictory celebration project. Each day I will write down a self-care or writing victory I had, like doing a load of laundry, cooking food, going to bed early, writing down an idea, editing a page, or just making time to write.

I finally came up with the term I want to use instead of Game Master --> Game Manager!!! It has the same GM abbreviation, but without the implication of creepy power dynamics. :D
