He was always going to be judged by the results, and I think they’re harsh. ❌ Randal Kolo Muani has a goal disallowed to make it 2-2 in the North London Derby, lose 4-1. ❌ Raul Jimenez pushes Radu Dragusin in the build up to Fulham’s first goal - goal given after VAR check for the exact same reason as the above disallowed goal, putting Fulham 1-0 up after just seven minutes. ❌ Micky van de Ven sent off with #thfc 1-0 up at home to Crystal Palace. Spurs then capitalise and concede 3 in less than ten minutes. ❌ Antonin Kinsky makes two huge errors at Atletico Madrid, complimenting a freak opening 22 minutes and we find ourselves 4-0 down. Lose 5-2. ✅ Tactics spot on and performance incredible determined as we draw 1-1 away at Liverpool. ✅ Fight and resilience shown as we beat Atletico Madrid in the second leg, albeit defeated on aggregate with the first leg damage too much. ❌ Spurs lose 3-0 at home to Nottingham Forest. No words for this one really… You can see the jist of things. And when the players are showing very little fight, it’s very difficult.

@JacobsBen Absolutely terrible. Also, that’s THE ugliest stadium for television in the history of stadiums. Looks like it’s lit with fluorescent bulbs from the ‘70s. Absolute eyesore, makes any sporting event nearly unwatchable. Atrocious.

FIFA-mandated hydration break, and in a closed-roof stadium, has done nothing other than take the sting out the game. Perhaps different with more at stake during the World Cup, but every single player standing around on the field for over half the three-minute pause just wanting to get on with it.

@Lilywhite_Rose He has actually scored 2 additional goals that *should* have counted but were chalked off by appalling VAR interventions. He had another correctly ruled out for an offside—lovely strike from edge of the box, though, nobody knew it was offside when he hit it.

@Ben_White86 @sjhard1975 I’ve never understood why clubs simply aren’t permitted to do business with clubs in which they hold an ownership interest. That would fix most of the problem immediately. It’s just common sense (which, I realize, doesn’t exist in sport any more)

Dumfries flopped, it wasn’t called, and they paid for it with an equalizer. For me, that’s a good goal. BUT Inter did probably deserve a penalty for the challenge on Frattesi 2 mins later, or at the very least a VAR check. The touch was soft, but it was there
