@JezCorden Ha, for me it took five minutes to start the game thanks to the crazy-long opening cutscene, then it constantly opened the pause menu whenever I tried to do anything. Not an ideal first try!

A lot of you were asking about Xbox Ally "S" performance, I got some sneaky extra hands on time with it earlier. (Excuse my terrible Forza skillz lol, but 60 FPS, looked great, no stutters, very consistent experience.) They really should've called it the Xbox Ally S lol.

@Neeto_Makar The screenshot is a bit crap, it looked better in person as you can see how it actually interacts with the environment - eg being lit up realistically when the person passes into a brighter area. Also, historically, hair physics is surprisingly intensive, this is more efficient.

Seven years! Time flies when you're having fun, and it's been an honour and a privilege to be part of the Digital Foundry team - a collection of people with so much insight and experience, but also heaping helpings of comradery, humour and passion.

@RyanSmithAT I guess the major stumbling point is that DF won't have a website, which is kind of where I do my best work! I'd like to keep the EG work going without diluting it too much - might be fun to carve out "EG Tech" as its own thing :)

@wsjudd Interesting. I'm surprised to see that you're not going with the rest of the DF crew. Any idea what your coverage at EG is going to look like in the future? e.g. I'm guessing EG will want something a bit lighter and easier to digest than DF's usual fare.
