Nous avons eu de véritables barnburners et c'est aussi parce que je suis un peu un calculateur pour lui parce que je l'oblige à faire des choses différentes avec son catch. Lorsque nous luttions, je lui faisais travailler sa jambe en lui disant : "Maintenant, tu ne peux plus voler, qu'est-ce que tu vas faire ? J'ai une bonne relation avec Will. Je me souviens d'avoir été assis dans la voiture de son père, qui nous conduisait d'un spectacle à l'autre, et je me souviens de lui avoir dit : "Tu vas devenir une grande star. Tu vas devenir une très grande star". À l'époque, l'objectif était Dragon Gate. Je lui ai dit : "C'est facile. C'est une question de temps. Aleister Black says he pitched a Will Ospreay match in AEW. "The Ospreay match is something that I actually pitched a couple of times. We had such good chemistry back then. We had some absolute barnburners and it’s also because I’m a bit of a calculus for him because I force him to do different things with his wrestling. When we did wrestle, I would work his leg, ‘Now you can’t fly. What are you going to do?’ I have a good relationship with Will. I remember sitting in his dad’s car and his dad was driving us from show A to show B, and I remember saying to him, ‘You’re going to be a big star. You’re going to be a really big star.’ At the time, the goal was Dragon Gate. I said to him, ‘That’s easy. That’s a matter of time.’ His road went the way it went, but now, he’s one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling." (@wtrgpod)

Aleister Black praises Gunther. "Once he started working in wXw more and he got the opportunity to go to Japan, that’s where you saw such a change in him. It just clicked. His Big Japan matches, do yourself a favor, watch his matches in Big Japan, they are phenomenal. Him against Daisuke Sekimoto or Okabayashi, oh man, unreal. So good. He quickly became one of my absolute favorite wrestlers. He still is, to this day. I think he’s so special. He’s so unique. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him have a bad match.
