Crypto is this shiny new thing for celebrities where they think they’ll make a quick cash grab - they’ll be around doing spaces and active for about 2-3 weeks, tops… then realize how hard this shit really is and then disappear and go back to what they were doing before it.
They are in over their heads and it’s crazy to see. They don’t understand how hard it is to launch a token, you literally have to be there every step of the way and see it all the way through.
It’s the least rewarding job in the world.
You have a community of people monetarily invested who just want to see “price go up” and don’t care how you do it but you better keep trying to do it.
The second you stop hosting spaces, stop tweeting, go on vacation or do anything other than try to “make price go up” they will hate you and fud you.
This is a cautionary tale to all celebrities who want to launch a token.
THIS IS NOT WORTH IT, TRUST ME.
You will have to be around for more than 1 month - these people expect you to be working on this for the next 1-3 years to make sure you pump all their bags full time. As soon as you fall short they will trash you.
That’s what these celebrities don’t understand, this is not fun and games. You are playing with peoples hard-earned money and some of them are gambling addicts and that’s not your fault but it will still be blamed on you.
I was in the $JENNER spaces today, they said they wanted their token to replace the dollar 🤦🏼♂️ so clueless as to what it means to launch a token. Clueless as to the real ramifications of doing this.
Saying they want to continue building and expanding their project… guess how they plan to do that?
Caitlyn will continue to promote and promote and promote a lot more until she gets tired of promoting and then the token dies, it’s a zero-sum game they are playing. You can only promote a token for so long without any type of utility added until you reach everyone in your circle of influence and your promotion will no longer cause any affect on the chart.
Every celebrity thinks this shit is so easy.
They are all in for a rude awakening. We live and breathe this crypto shit and it’s not a game to us. You will get chewed up and spit out and regret ever stepping foot into this space. We’re all here for the long run and we tend to protect this space because this is our lives and we don’t like to see people trying to come in and take advantage of the communities here who are easily influenced.
If you’re a celebrity who has good intentions my best advice to you is to look for a token that’s already doing well with a thriving community and just support it and learn as you go.
Learn about Bitcoin and Ethereum and Solana. Learn about wallets, charts and crypto in general. Don’t think you’re above any of this because you’re a household celebrity name, no one in crypto gives a fuck about that.
CRYPTO DOES NOT NEED YOU. AT ALL.
We were fine without you and we’ll be fine whether or not you decide to join into crypto, I promise you.
If you’re a celebrity, please have good intentions and be humble enough to listen when the crypto space talks to you about these things
