@SmashRookie @onlyhereforpkmn to be fair the game is still very edgy, especially in the new entries, and even so its the first pikmin game on switch. they probably expected newcomers would try it out

@wuffwaffwhimsy @onlyhereforpkmn Both in terms of difficulty and tone, it's just a little too forgiving. It doesn't really have the edge that the previous 3 games have at all even though those are also accessible to kids.

@onlyhereforpkmn This combined with Nintendo's seemingly ever-growing dislike of Pikmin dying is pretty worrying for the future of the games. We've gone from them being harder to kill in 3 to the game constantly telling you to reset if they die in 4.
