I’ll never understand the hype surrounding Kendrick Lamar. I feel like we’re being collectively gaslit into believing he’s a genius lol. Half his “bars” are just recycled twitter jokes, and the other half are extremely basic bars, but his fans will write an academic essay explaining how it’s actually a quintuple entendre that went over our heads and is secretly a critique of the socioeconomic state of the culture.
