@EastRiverHeron @vevosuave if the player is so good while coasting that they still sleepwalk to the playoffs at a decent seed, which allows them the luxury of putting more into the playoffs, then yes that is a positive of the player not a downside lol

@wuuuke @Mo3Muse yeah big difference between like 2014 and 2025 lebron coasting. still think the level you can reach when it matters is much more important but by 2025 the coasting has real implications on the playoffs potentially so it can’t just simply be ignored as easy (hope that makes sense)

anyone who says there was a point from 2009 to 2020 where they felt more comfortable with any player other than lebron in a hypothetical playoff run to save their life is either a stan of that player or a hater of lebron (or both) thus he was clearly bitw that whole stretch

@Mo3Muse @roadto81pct the coasting shit should only ever matter if youre coasting to such a degree that your team somehow struggles to get into the playoffs. if you have a player of lebrons caliber home court advantage basically is never gonna be the difference between winning a series or not
