The baseball season began with the preseason favorite to win the World Series (the Dodgers) honoring drag queens that mock Jesus and it ended with a the Rangers winning the World Series the day their player Jose Leclerc celebrated Jesus with a "Jesus Won" shirt. He won indeed. 🙌🏼

Catchers make up roughly 8-11% of the player population in MLB. Job availability is also thin for backstops across the college game. With that in mind, I typically avoid taking on a guy that's not special at the position. All 3 of these dudes are. See 'em at 17u #WWBA next week.

@JRudd_Scout @PerfectGameUSA When he only had 2 on him. PG never tried to correct ump, then they removed kid from lineup and put that at bat in the next kid coming in. Then called batter interference in next kid to catch up with # of outs. Nobody should use PG stats anymore. Many hits are on base by error.

@JRudd_Scout @PerfectGameUSA score keepers had a lot of mistakes this past weekend. Showed kids having an at bat and they didn’t. Showed a pitcher pitching who never pitched all weekend. Showed kid not getting a hit when he did. Then the best one was ump called S/O

#1) Scorekeeper errors can negatively affect a player's college/pro stock. #2) It's not possible for everything to always fall on the nameless HS scorekeeper. Accountability is need for coaches & companies (adults making real money)... not the scorekeeper. Help the kid out.
