👺 Narcissistic Abuse Example: A woman told me she kept cash in a small vase on the mantle of the fireplace. The vase disappeared and she asked her husband if he knew what happened to the vase. He said she probably ‘misplaced’ it. A couple of days later, the vase reappeared. The husband said to her “you must have been mistaken”. A week later the vase went missing again. She asked him about it again and he told her he didn’t know what she was taking about and that she must be getting forgetful. Again, the vase reappears. Again, the same incident happens and he tells her she is crazy and needs a therapist. This goes on for a while. I advised this woman to install secret cameras. She brought them in to play for me. Guess WHO was moving the vase? This is gaslighting. 👺
