For the month of May, Dana Elementary Center collects non-perishable food items for donation to Saint Vincent de Paul‘s Kitchen Pantry during their lowest collection time. Pictured in the photo is Mr. Stull’s 5th grade class.

On Friday, June 2nd the WVW MS 7th and 8th Grade Band traveled to Red Land High School on Lewisberry for a Trills and Thrills Festival where they were honored with a rating of Excellent. Following their festival, the students enjoyed the remainder of the day at Hersheypark. 🎶

Congratulations to our MS STEM students on our annual Rubberband Racer. Special kudos to winners, pictured below, 1st place Richard Jimenez, second place Mackenzie Slominski, and third place Madison Powell. The winning drive distance was 55’7”.

Wilkes University’s Science in Motion program presented the StarLab planetarium to our fourth grade students at State Street today.
Learning about science through this inflatable, portable planetarium brought plenty of “oohs” and “ahs.” Thank you Wilkes University!
WVW Unified Track Team placed 5th overall at the Pennsylvania State Track and Field Championships held at Shippensburg University Friday and Saturday. Congrats to all the athletes and coaches on an amazing accomplishment and year!!!
Wyoming Valley West High School recently conducted its annual Senior Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 24th. 60 students were honored with 116 individual awards/honors. The total sum of monetary awards pledged by individual donors exceeded $30,000!
On Tuesday, May 16th, the WVW Middle School Band performed their Spring Concert! The concert featured the 5th Grade Elementary Band, 6th Grade Band, 7th/8th Grade Band and WVW MS Jazz Band.
