Canada’s popular Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) invited more than 2000 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR in the month of May. Express Entry candidates get 600 additional points toward their CRS score upon receiving a provincial nomination.

The Australian immigration department has released the results of its SkillSelect invitation round conducted on 21 April 2022. A total of 1500 immigration candidates under subclass 189 and subclass 491 streams received invitations to apply for Australian Permanent Residency.

Canada is planning to introduce major changes to the Express Entry system! Aiden Strickland, a spokesperson on behalf of Canada’s immigration minister said that the proposed changes would allow IRCC to invite candidates based on the country’s economic goal.

Canada's immigration department - Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has confirmed that it will soon be processing most new Express Entry applications within six months again. This will take effect once IRCC resumes Express Entry draws from ‘early July’.

Canada has updated the proof of settlement funds requirement for Express Entry candidates in the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) for 2022. Express Entry candidates have until June 8 to update their profile.
