The final of the Phillips 3 graduated from @ChathamCentral Friday. Ellie wrote & delivered a speech I was proud to hear and we’re all still smiling from this joyful day. Forever grateful to CCHS and the village of family & friends our family has had over the years. #onechatham

On this day in 1958, Ernest Green became the first black student to graduate from Little Rock Central. Back in 1957, under escort from the U.S. Army’s, nine black students started schooling at the all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Soph received a Service & Dedication & a Leadership Development Award at Meredith. As a preschooler, she made a wish on a ⭐️ “I want to be the boss.” She’s been preparing for this role for a long time. Those headstrong, stubborn, bossy little girls turn into leaders. Let them be.
