@TapestryLife@LauraLoomer I have never seen anyone wash their deet in a public sink. Not saying it hasn't happened, but I've lived 63 years and have yet to see that.
@LauraLoomer You're all just a bunch of idiot MAGA Karens. The reason why they installed the foot washing station is to keep people from washing their feet in the sink. I guess MAGAs would prefer that. Not surprising.
@JeromeAdamsMD@ALorkowski But here are YOUR words - "you cannot deny that our climate is CHANGING in dangerous way" so he's letting you know it hasn't changed. In keeping with 1966 temps.
@ALorkowski Not sure of your point – but I don’t know that saying “it hasn’t been this hot in over 60 years,” disproves my point.
Also, important not to look at snapshots but trends. Did you also look that up or just ask ChatGPT or grok, has it ever been this hot before? 🤔
At a meeting in Palm Springs, and ironically one of the sessions was on climate change. One can debate causes, solutions, and trade offs… but rational people simply cannot not continue to deny that our climate is changing in dangerous way.
It’s March y’all. 🥵🤦🏽♂️
New: Police say they found 964 grams of marijuana, which is about 2.1 pounds, in the residence of Alabama basketball star Aden Holloway, per documents obtained by @aldotcom.
He told them he "only smokes."

“Tommy Tuberville proves to the world that a football hitting your head can turn you into a racist piece of s..t. Congrats, Tommy,” California’s Democratic governor said.
@RealCandaceO So you decide to trash his widow all while acting like he was your bestie? As a widow myself to a wonderful man who went from thriving to deceased in about 20 minutes, I find your antics disgusting.
I’m sorry guys, but I refuse to accept whatever matrix software update this is where a man is publicly assassinated and his legacy goes out to the highest bidder.
I will not allow Charlie’s enemies to purchase him like there’s some afterlife slave market.
I reject this.
NO.
@CaptainJewda@GregGousby@CBSNews They have to at Alabama. They are held accountable for their scholarships. I live in Tuscaloosa before you think I'm just pulling this out of the air.
Athletes haven’t had to go to class since I was in school unless the coach mandated it or the teacher takes attendance (and even then you can just have someone sign in for you). Hell I made my schedule to where I only had 1-2 classes each semester that took attendance and those were my major courses.
Today with so many classes being offered online I’m sure there are players that don’t even have to walk into a classroom. Sure there will be exceptions and you will have athletes who do care about their education and career after football but I wouldn’t say that’s the overwhelming majority.
Also, im in support of the players making money btw and the NIL and rev share and collective. Only thing I’m against as a fan is transferring after committing to a school but I also acknowledge that doesn’t do any harm to the athlete.
College football's most decorated head coach Nick Saban spoke at the White House on Friday at a college sports roundtable hosted by President Trump.
Saban called on lawmakers to fix issues he has seen at the collegiate level, where Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals have turned the focus away from education.
"How much does anybody talk about getting an education anymore? Nobody talks about it at all, which is the most important thing any of these student athletes can do in terms of enhancing their future."
@CaptainJewda@MSanders60794@CBSNews Huge difference in REQUIREMENTS vs if that degree put you ahead of the other applicants. And once you get that job, you often can't make it to the next level in the company without a degree.
The majority of US jobs don’t have degree requirements. Assuming Google search is accurate, as of late 2025 only 19.3% of job openings in the US require a bachelors degree or higher according to data from the indeed hiring lab.
My point is that NIL and even transferring to 6 schools in 6 years aren’t negatively impacting education or a students ability to get a good job in the future. So these people like Saban trying to make this about the student athletes and how the current landscape of college sports, NIL/rev share and transferring with no restrictions is negatively impacting the student athletes just feels disingenuous to me. Not to mention these student athletes that they are so concerned about weren’t even represented.
Outside of making players employees and letting them unionize and collective bargain, any changes made to the current NIL and transfer rules will not be made in the interest of the players but in the interest of the NCAA, college institutions and fans.
And to be clear, as a fan, I agree that changes should be made. I’d much rather have a team that doesn’t consist 18 new starters year after year or a coach that doesn’t get poached during the season and weeks before our first playoff appearance. And I hate that players can sign a contract and commit to a team only to renege and go to another school that offered more money. But I believe all of those things hurt the sport, the universities and my experience as a fan. I don’t believe for a second those issues are hurting the student athletes education.
Sorry for the long response!
President Trump provides an update on Iran operations at the Shield of America Summit:
“We knocked out 42 Navy ships, some of them very large, in three days. That was the end of their Navy. We knocked out their Air Force. We knocked out their communications and all telecommunications is gone. I don’t know how they communicate, but I guess they will figure something. It’s not working too well.”
@JeromeAdamsMD Just an honest question, Jerome. Is there anything you think RFK has done right? Are you not willing to admit childhood vaccines never were tested? Are you not bothered at some of the ingredients used in them? Do you think the quantity of jabs given to little ones was okay?
But under RFK’s HHS, we've seen massive cuts: ~20,000 HHS jobs slashed (including thousands at CDC), funding clawed back from state/local response programs, and mixed/weak messaging on catch-up vaccination & isolation. Result? One case spirals into dozens/ hundreds / thousands. thelancet.com/journals/lance…
Theres always a baseline of US measles cases, mostly from unvaxxed travelers. Normally, 1 case stays 1... or maybe 5-10, b/c CDC + state/local health depts have staff, funding, & authority to investigate, isolate contacts, and vaccinate in the outbreak zone. cnn.com/2026/02/27/hea…
@fred_guttenberg@FBIDirectorKash So how are you privy to his blood alcohol content? Did you do a breathalyzer test on him? Geeezzzz, you folks are stretching.
I understand FBI failures better than most. In fact, a failure by the FBI resulted in the Parkland shooting. @FBIDirectorKash, you are a disgrace. While you spend time getting drunk, the FBI needs leadership. I hope nobody dies because of your inability to provide it.
@travisakers Just a question ... how do you know whose dime he is on? Are you sure he didn't pay for the trip himself? I mean, he does earn a paycheck. And the why is because HE is a longtime hockey player himself.
