@BSHolloway there was no real reason to think they would lose and I think still should and would have won if Boozer doesn’t turn that over and then an epic shot is made. But I’ll give it to you, you were right

To me this is a mistake. I agree the loss in the fashion it happened against VCU was bad and the Kansas title game similar, inexcusable, but who within the Carolina family (because that is the only pool of candidates chosen from) will be better. And great class coming in jeopardy

@SCweather_wx @jed51196 A far better way to approach it would be using ensemble data and cluster analysis along with pattern recognition. But at that time range I wouldn’t even indulge in it unless there was lots of ensemble agreement and run to run consistency, which isn’t often likely down here.

@SCweather_wx @jed51196 That is the key. If you are posting to give people an accurate sense of what may happen 6+ days away then a single deterministic model run is not the correct way. Posting single runs that far out is only to gain followers, get clicks and engagement for personal gain.

Actually insane the amount of well known TV meteorologists posting the 12z Euro for next weekend. I don’t even care, but the folks that hate when people post these single runs are wasting energy at this point. You got a pretty balanced genre of people doing it now. Weather enthusiasts, meteorologists & tons of well known & respected meteorologists post them. You mix that with the fact that the public is going to take in information the way they want regardless of how you relay it… yeh you mise well just chalk it up as a losing battle.
