I ended up tracking and diving into storms myself with the few apps that I have (Radarscope, Windy). I have a weather page on Facebook I post to with severe weather.

The Bears were loud in the right places (public media settings with maximum visibility at the combine) regarding how they felt wronged by the NFL’s decision to not award comp picks for Ian Cunningham’s departure. It goes against the spirit of what the Rooney Rule is supposed to be about (promoting minority advancement in coaching and front office positions). The NFL was adamant in January that it wasn’t something that could be appealed but the Bears tried anyways. Can’t fault them for their attempt, but fall out from this should lead to a real conversation about the rule in the first place and how poorly this reflects back on the league.

Today was the warmest day (42°) we have seen in exactly 4 weeks… and the first time we made it above 40° since Jan 16!

High temperature today in Cincinnati was 32°, meaning we failed to reach an above freezing temperature for the 15th straight day (last time Jan 22: 38°) that makes this tied for the 12th longest stretch on record in Cincy.

People in the service industry get get mad at customers who don't tip the industry standard and you hear them tell people if you can't afford to tip don't eat out then, the opposite side of that argument is if you're depending on tips and not getting enough, work more hours and get a 2nd or 3rd job. Everyone is entitled to a good meal once in a while and extorting people who can't afford it by shaming them for tips is outrageous.
