Hey everyone ! Recently stumbled upon @RiverdotInc on X and decided to dig into their project. Turns out it's a cool DeFi thing - a chain-abstracted stablecoin system that solves fragmented liquidity across chains. Here's what I found after checking it out. What is River? River is a protocol building a unified stablecoin ecosystem across different blockchains, no bridges or wrappers needed. Their main product is satUSD, an overcollateralized stablecoin you can mint on one chain by collateralizing assets on another (like BTC or ETH on chain A, get satUSD on B). It all runs on @LayerZero_Core and OFT standard for seamless cross-chain ops. It's like your assets can "teleport" by capabilities, without risking bridges that often get hacked. TVL's already over $300M, with $150M+ in circulation of satUSD, integrated with 30+ protocols and 9+ chains. Governance via $RIVER too - vote on params, upgrades, incentives. $RIVER Token Fixed supply 100M tokens. Allocation: 30% dynamic airdrop, 15% each to investors/contributors, 12% ecosystem, etc. Token for governance, staking, protocol fees. Price around $22-24 now, but hit $90 in early Jan 2026 (25x from launch). Tomorrow (March 22) $27M unlock - might dump, but long-term looks solid with TVL growth. Project went from concept to real usage - Sui partnership, Tron DAO collab, Maelstrom investment. If TVL keeps growing (hit $735M recently), $RIVER could do well.
