Do you know a brief history of PS, Fikirini Jacobs? First this guy joined Maasai Mara University in 2015 to pursue a Bachelor of Education. Later in the same University, he was elected as the Deputy president, Student Councils. Later in 2017 he was expelled from the Maasai Mara University. He then joined Pwani University to pursue Bachelor degree in philosophy. Joining Pwani, he was elected as the Chairperson,Student Councils. In between his term,he was again expelled from Pwani University . Bytheway they worked with Josh in the same cabinet 😃. It took intervention of political goodwill for him to be reinstated back. He came back later and cleared his degree but was barred from student politics. In 2022, I think he had an ambition to become senator, Kilifi County. I think ODM powerhouse convinced him and he dropped the ambition. Post 2022 in worked in Kilifi County Government,Delivery unit. Recently he was appointed as the PS,Youth Affairs.

This should not be offered in any university of science and technology. With all due respect. The CUE , KUCCPS and MoE accredited many universities in Kenya and very wide courses... Huezi niambie this is something to test a second year student after being in school for 2+ 8+4+2 years buana. Such should be left to Sunday school teachers and your religious mother. Let's talk about pure science and modern technology please. W.r.t

Rigathi Gachagua claims teachers, in the new medical cover, are limited to KSh 1,200 daily. That is misleading. The reality is that the Mwalimu Cover under this administration is one of the most comprehensive health schemes in the public sector. Teachers now enjoy inpatient cover ranging from KSh 1 million to KSh 3 million, outpatient cover of up to KSh 450,000 and access to over 6,000 health facilities nationwide; services easily accessible through the Afyangu app. What has changed is not the benefit, but the discipline in how public funds are used.

If my outpatient limit is 225k a year, why the daily limit? If it must be there, then per month, the limit should be around 18,000ksh. All of us can view our limits on the app, hii 450k umetoa wapi mkuu?

@KiguruWanjiru Afadhali nyinyi. Police out patient limit is 100K while inpatient is 700K. Na waliweka seminar kubwa with two CS's present. Ikakua mpaka kwa tv. The previous cover with @apainsuranceltd was unlimited for outpatient and 1.2M for inpatient. Ni mbaya

Before we compare Kenya to London and other “middle income countries”, let us examine our reality. Sit with Wafula, a boda boda rider in Gitaru, and walk through his day. From morning to evening, he might make 15–20 short distance trips. On a good day, he brings in about Ksh 1,500–2,000. Out of that, fuel takes a significant share, now add bike repayment or rent, a little for maintenance, and by the end of the day, what is left is barely enough to take care of his family needs, let alone save. This is the reality for many Kenyans. The issue is what fuel costs a Kenyan whose income has not kept pace, whose business depends on daily movement, and whose survival is tied to every shilling spent at the pump. In the UK, higher prices exist alongside higher incomes, reliable public transport, functioning healthcare, and social systems that return value to the taxpayer. Hapa Kenya, hizo mizigo zote ni za mwananchi, who already is stretched, with little cushioning and even less return. So the question remains, is fuel affordable for Kenyans, within our reality? The government must answer that without comparisons, but with solutions that ease the pressure on everyday lives.
