🧵Three films changed how I see people. None of them came from Hollywood. All three deserve to live on Play Cineflicks. @Playcineflicks Imagine having a platform where you need no subscriptions for streaming movies, good right? #myplaycineflicks Yet, you earn $CNF token, a tradable crypto asset from watching your favorite show, this is the concept of Watch-To-Earn by PlayCineFlicks. The first is INCENDIES. Denis Villeneuve, 2010. Before Dune. Before Arrival. He made a film rooted in the Lebanese civil war that broke me inside a theater. A daughter receives her dead mother's will and is told to find a brother she never knew existed and a father she was told was dead. You think you are watching a mystery. By the end, you realize you were watching a confession. I have never sat still for ten full minutes after a film. Until that one. The second is MINARI. 2020. A Korean family moves to rural Arkansas in the 1980s to farm land that makes no sense for farming. Almost nothing happens for the first hour. And then everything does. The grandmother, Soonja, taught me more about quiet dignity in two hours than a decade of reading. It won a Golden Globe. Most people I know still have not seen it. That gap is the whole problem. The third is A SEPARATION. Asghar Farhadi, 2011. Iranian cinema. Academy Award winner. The most honest film about moral compromise I have ever watched. A couple splits in Tehran. A caretaker is accused of causing a miscarriage. Suddenly everyone is lying but nobody is wrong. Farhadi wrote a story with no villain. Only people trying to protect what they love. I watched it twice in one week trying to figure out who I sided with. I still cannot tell you. All three do something most platforms never bet on. They trust the audience. No over-explaining. No score telling you how to feel. Just story. Just people. Just truth. That is exactly what Play Cineflicks should stand for. Follow @PlayCineflicks and drop your three picks below. Which film do you think deserves a bigger audience? Tell me.
